Covid-19

How do the Covid-19 precautions change your treatment experience?
April 2021

Reflexology and Massage is allowed again! I am so excited to welcome you back to my treatment room, however I do understand that this is an uncertain time, so if there is any part of the treatment process you would like to discuss, then please do get in touch with me. These changes have been made after weeks of consulting both the Government guidance and the thorough advice from my incredible professional bodies.

Please note there are no expiry dates for any gift vouchers purchased at this time.

Symptoms and Vaccinations

All COVID precautions will remain in place regardless of whether you have been vaccinated or not. Please note I cannot treat you until at least 3 days after being vaccinated (longer if symptoms persist). Please postpone your appointment if you are experiencing any COVID-10 symptoms.

Consent

There will be a form to complete when you arrive regarding your exposure to Covid-19 and for the NHS Track and Trace. If you are considered a high-risk client, it may not be possible to treat you at this time but feel free to contact me to discuss this with me.

Consultation

To reduce face to face time, client consultations will take place outside (weather permitting) or via phone or online before your appointment to discuss your needs and any Covid-19 issues.

On arrival

I will meet you at the YOU@no32 gate and give you hand sanitiser. I will ask you to remove your shoes as you enter the treatment room and to avoid touching anything.

Treatment

There will be a container in which to put your clothes (and coat) if you are having a massage. Please try to wear easy to remove clothing and no jewellery. For massage I will wear gloves, please do not be concerned about the use of gloves, It will NOT affect your treatment. I have had a massage myself with the therapist wearing gloves and I could not tell the difference!
